Pickerington Native Korri Titus Named OAC Women's Lacrosse Player of the Week

Korri Titus, a Pickerington native and freshman for the Capital University women's lacrosse team, received Ohio Athletic Conference Player of the Week honors, the league announced Monday.

Attacker Korri Titus earned Offensive Player of the Week, and goalie Maddie Wilson received Defensive Player of the Week.

Titus, a Pickerington, Ohio, native, earned the offensive honors following a five goal game this past Saturday against Calvin, a game in which the Crusaders won 11-8. On the season, Titus currently leads the team in points (11), goals (9), and is second in assists (2).

Wilson, a Chagrin Falls, Ohio, native, received the defensive honors following an impressive showing in goal for the Crusaders this past Saturday, saving 21 shots of 29 shots faced in the win over the Knights. So far this season, Wilson has started both games and has held the Crusaders opposition to two goals in each of the first halves through two games.

The Crusaders are 2-0 playing in their inaugural varsity season.
