Capital University Recognizes Kimberly Mollett for Excellence During Annual Honors Convocation

Capital University honored nearly 70 students for excellence in academics, service, leadership and achievement in their discipline at the annual Honors Convocation held during spring semester near the end of the academic year.

Kimberly Mollett, of Mechanicsburg, OH 43044, received the Allene Montgomery Prize for outstanding student achievement in communication or theatre. This award is given to student who meet these criteria:

1) Student in the Communication Department at Capital University who have been active in departmental pre-professional activities 2) Preference goes to junior or senior who have been involved in communication and theatre 3) Cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 4) Actively involved in campus and community activities 5) Demonstrate leadership qualities

Each year, nominations for the awards are submitted by faculty, staff and administrators depending on the nature of the award. Winners are selected by committees based on a nominee's level of achievement in a specific area, and the criteria set forth by the donor who established the award. Awards range from $50 to $4,800.
