Capital University Recognizes Kelly Hale for Excellence During Annual Honors Convocation

Capital University honored nearly 70 students for excellence in academics, service, leadership and achievement in their discipline at the annual Honors Convocation held during spring semester near the end of the academic year.

Kelly Hale, of Yellow Springs, OH 45387, received the Charlotte S. Kuchlewski Award for Excellence in English. This award is given to student who meet these criteria:

1) Senior student for excellence in English

Each year, nominations for the awards are submitted by faculty, staff and administrators depending on the nature of the award. Winners are selected by committees based on a nominee's level of achievement in a specific area, and the criteria set forth by the donor who established the award. Awards range from $50 to $4,800.
