Capital University Recognizes Jing Ci (Elaine) for Excellence During Annual Honors Convocation

Capital University honored nearly 70 students for excellence in academics, service, leadership and achievement in their discipline at the annual Honors Convocation held during spring semester near the end of the academic year.

Jing Ci (Elaine), of home: Tianjin, China preferred: Columbus, OH 43209, received the Nancy B. and Nicholas J. Perrini Award recognizing sophomore students in outstanding performance in the Conservatory of Music. This award is given to student who meet these criteria:

1) Sophomore music major in the Conservatory of Music for outstanding performance

Each year, nominations for the awards are submitted by faculty, staff and administrators depending on the nature of the award. Winners are selected by committees based on a nominee's level of achievement in a specific area, and the criteria set forth by the donor who established the award. Awards range from $50 to $4,800.
